July 2025 edition

Faithful Little Bulletin 2025!

As we were preparing this month's bulletin, recapping the month of July, we realized we labeled last month's newsletter wrong! But, we got it right this month! July has been a month  full of adventure and beautiful little memories!

Every day, we are grateful to be a part of your little one's lives and our goal is to have them, and you, leave with a great experience here at Faithful Little Scholars.

Birthday Girl!

We got to celebrate little Emmy's birthday with homemade blueberry muffins prepared by Mrs.B! A gluten-free recipe made especially for our little ones.

Emmerson's growth, so far, here at FLS has truly been amazing to watch. She's grown in confidence and bring us so much laughter and joy! Like all children, she has her moments where she challenges Mrs. B, but who can resist that cute little face!

WELCOME CHLOE!

Please join us in welcoming our newest Little Scholar - Chloe!

She's already shown so much confidence and eager to participate! We're excited to have her as part of our little scholar family and eager watch her develop and the grow!  Weclome Chloe!

LIcensing

This month, we were inspected by the Air Force, Department of Family & Child Care Services, AND the USDA! And we are proud to say we passed with FLYING COLORS!

Our paperwork was in order, the property was reported as well maintained, our food handling and menu was even complimented by the USDA inspector!

The DCF inspector gave us a clean report with no discrepancies! You can access the official DCF report below!

The Air Force inspector was a little more meticulous and pointed out some room for improvement on the property. One was the gate on the other side of the property did not swing freely. That's been fixed; Emilio simply mounted it a few inches higher.

The lattice gate in the back was falling apart and so our handy-man Emilio also fixed that.

Lastly there were a few small holes in the concrete playground area in the back, the size of a lady bug, that are required to be filled. Those will be taken care of next.

Fun at the No worries ranch!

This month's field trip was so much fun! The children had an unforgettable time at Noe Worries Ranch in Zephyrhills, FL, where they got to explore the beautiful property and interact with a variety of friendly animals. From cuddling soft bunnies and watching curious ducks waddle by, to gently petting chickens and meeting sweet ponies, every moment was filled with joy and discovery. The hands-on experience not only brought big smiles, but also sparked curiosity and a deeper appreciation for animals and nature. It was a day full of laughter, learning, and cherished memories we’ll carry with us for weeks to come!

    August Activity Pack

    Back to School!

This month, we’re excited to kick off our “Back to School” theme with fun and engaging activities that help build confidence and new skills! As seen in the photo, each child received their own colorful pair of age-appropriate scissors, perfect for developing their fine motor skills through snipping and cutting exercises. These tools are not only safe but also designed to support hand strength and coordination—skills essential for writing and everyday tasks. We also sent home an “All About Me” crown activity to celebrate each child’s uniqueness. We kindly ask for your help in completing this with your little one, and we’d love for you to send us a picture of them wearing their crown so we can display it proudly on their cubby. It’s a wonderful way to help them feel seen, special, and part of our daycare family!

    Property improvements

We’re excited to share one of our latest additions—an age-appropriate playset designed just for our little scholars! 🛝 As you can see in the photo, this beautiful two-level playhouse includes a rock climbing wall, spiral slide, imaginative play windows, and plenty of room for active fun and creative adventures. We’re currently in the process of assembling it, and can’t wait to see the smiles and laughter it brings to our outdoor playtime. Investing in safe, engaging spaces like this is just one of the many ways we’re committed to your child’s joy and development!

    August Field Trip

We’re excited to announce our next field trip will be to the New River Public Library in Wesley Chapel! 📚✨ The children will get to explore the world of books, enjoy a fun storytime, and discover how a library works. It’s a wonderful opportunity to inspire a love for reading and learning in a new environment. Date and time to be determined—we’ll share more details soon!
